Resocializing

Yeah, the quarantine lasted quite a while. It’s been 3 long months since this all started in Romenia. And we spent a whole lot of time at home, all three heads constantly working on new ways to answer the key question: What do we play now?

Romping around in bed was taken to a whole other level.

Mom and I became entrepreneuers and started a small production of masks. At some point I realized it had nothing to do with super heroes and gave up; the production stayed small and gladly we didn’t turn into a huge enterprise.

Mom told me all about the nutritional pyramid, so dad and I took care of the base by baking some of the most beautiful and delicious breads you can get.

Quarantine was no excuse to let myself go, so even staying home I did work a bit on my looks from time to time.

And when we simply couldn’t stay home anymore… well, we took a trip… to the block garden.

Music and dancing, as usual, were a big part of our past-time activities. Mom tried to show me some ballet moves.

Dad and I revisited some of the classics in Brazilian popular music.

I tried to keep my drumming practice going, as hard as it sometimes was to get dad to understand we have to share the kit.

And finally, on the 15th of May, some relaxing of the emergency measures came to place and social distancing became less distancing. Little by little we started establishing some contact to the outside world and to some friends. Mea, for instance, was always glad to show us around in Luna de Jos.

Somewhere very special in Cluj, a tree is growing, planted by my own hands – and a bit of mom’s too.

Day trips to Feleac happened almost every week. Sometimes I even got lucky with the company of friends, such as Margareta.

And we even had an amazing weekend in Aghireșu with Rada and some new friends.

This whole staying home thing was not hard at all for me, I have to admit. But I actually kinda miss people like my friends from kindergarten, plus Tilda and Melinda. I heard mom and dad talking about the possibility of some kindergartens, including my, reopening soon. I know they have their fingers crossed. It’s ok, but I must say in advance, there’s no way you’re gonna have me spending the whole day with these non-super heroe masks on my face.
